The first step is to engineer and then file for the FDNY ARCS. For new construction buildings that do require an FDNY ARCS radio system, the filing process will need to start before the building is completed. The first filing process may take as long as six weeks but can sometimes be completed in as short as four weeks. Here are some timeline for the process:

During the filing period, we provide updates we receive from FDNY and will answer any questions you have.

After approval, we can start working on the physical installation of products.

will initiate a second filing on your behalf. If FDNY makes any objections, we work to resolve these in a timely manner.
